MEET OUR STAFF

Kevin is the Lead Pastor of South Pointe Fellowship and is primarily responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the church as well as teaching on Sunday and Wednesday.

The Basics:
Kevin and Kim were married in 1994 and served three churches in North and South Carolina before coming to FBCIT to start South Pointe Fellowship in 2007. Kevin and Kim have three children: Emma, Stephen, and Benjamin.

Kevin has a B.A. from Gardner Webb University and a Masters degree from Southeastern Theological Seminary.

INTERESTS AND FAVORITES:

Places:
I love the beach, Chapel Hill, Hawaii, and snow-skiing.

A wide variety of musical styles from Chris Tomlin, Journey, 80s & 90s style rock, Passion.

Books:
Recent reads I would recommend: Simple Church (Thom Rainer) and The Present Future (Reggie McNeal), Good to Great (Jim Collins)

Sports, baseball cards, TV, movies, and hanging with the family.

Most vegetables, Duke University, slow drivers

Went to school for 20 straight years (k-12, 4 years under-grad, 3 years grad)

Gary Pierce

The Basics:
Gary and Nicole were married on November 19, 1988 and have served in 
one church before the call to South Pointe Fellowship. They have two 
daughters: Morgan and Ashton.

Born: September 1967

Education:
Gary is a graduate of Alexander Central High School in Taylorsville, 
NC and is currently seeking a B.A. from Liberty University.

Places: the beach, the mountains, golf courses

What's on the iPod: Christian Rock, Worship music, 80's & 90's Rock,

Books: I recommend: The Janitor, Simple Church, The Bible is great!

What do you TiVo: nothing

Sports Teams: UNC Tarheels, Dallas Cowboys, Tiger Woods (one-man
