Welcome to Upward, where Every Child IS a Winner!
Sports are a great way for children to learn about teamwork, respect for authority and sportsmanship. The sad part is all those things are being lost in today’s sporting society. With Upward soccer, these key essentials are included to create the best sporting experience for every child that participates. Upward Soccer is designed to reveal the winner in every child. Every child plays. Every child learns. Every child IS a Winner!
Promoting Character and Self-Esteem in Every Child
- Providing an evaluation system that promotes equal teams and opportunities
- Establishing a one-hour practice and game each week
- Implementing a substitution system for each team, allowing every child equal playing time
- Creating the opportunity for every child to learn the skills of the game
The emphasis is placed on having fun and good sportsmanship, not the scoreboard and standings.
Registration information (5k-6th grade):
Regular price:(deadline is August 9th): $75.00
Evaluations: Saturday, August 2nd and 9th.
Practices begin the week of August 25th.
6 weeks of games begin on Saturday, September 13th - October 18th.
Awards night celebration: Tuesday, October 21st.
